Mayank Mishra is Director and Asia Pacific Region head for Information Services at Citi's Global Transaction Services (GTS) based in Singapore.

Mayank is responsible for regional strategy and execution for information services within GTS. His priorities include enhanced client experience through integration & client facing solutions, business process re-engineering, business analytics & decisioning and white labelling. Mayank has about 18 years of industry experience, with over 6 years in Global Transaction services. Mayank holds a master's degree in Computer Science.

Thomas Parenty, Managing Director of Parenty Consulting Limited (Hong Kong), has twenty five years of experience in the computer security and cryptography fields, including employment with the National Security Agency. He has designed and evaluated the information security protection of numerous national and global systems, including those for banking, electronic commerce, credit card processing, healthcare, and nuclear command and control. In addition, Parenty has designed security features in enterprise applications that are currently used by governments and businesses across the globe.

Mr. Parenty has testified five times before the United States Congress on global competitiveness, national security, law enforcement, and encryption. In addition, he has served as an advisor to the National Academy of Sciences and the President's Commission on Critical Infrastructure Protection. Harvard Business School Press published Parenty's book, Digital Defense: What You Should Know About Protecting Your Company's Assets. His consulting practice currently focuses on the enablement of electronic commerce and the protection of intellectual property in Asia.

Mike Mudd is the Chief Representative of the OCA in the region, please see (www.opencomputingalliance.org) He brings many years of regional experience to the OCA, encompassing Japan to Australia and China to India. This region, home to half the world's population is also amongst the most dynamic and challenging for the ICT industry. He is based in Hong Kong and administers the OCA through his own company, Asia Policy Partners LLC.

Before joining the OCA, he was Director of Public Policy for Asia Pacific for one of the world's leading IT associations, CompTIA, opened the A-P office in Hong Kong, in 2004. Prior to this Mike was a Senior Manager with Standard Chartered Bank PLC, a major UK emerging market bank in the wholesale banks e-commerce group. Previously he was the Commercial Director for the e commerce division of the Noble Group, Asia's fastest growing trader of physical commodities.

With 32 year's experience in multicultural management in the Asia Pacific region, including extended assignments in China and Vietnam, Mike brings to the OCA hands on experience of working with high-level decision makers in both government and industry. Holding positions in general management in the information/service and communication industries, he has a proven track record in developing pro-business positions by working with governments from Minister, Vice Minister and Director head level and CEO's MD's, CFO's, CTO's, CIO's, in industry.

Mike studied at the University of Western Australia where he read economics and has written detailed research reports on a number of Asian economies on the economic impact of technology and science, and regularly contributes to regional media on the IT industry on open trade and the positive impact to development of emerging economies that ICT brings.

He is a presenter at regional IT forums, including OECD and APEC events and is an appointed expert to the ISO in Geneva for JTC-1 for IT related standards. An invited advisor on ICT in Vietnam, he was also recently appointed an advisor to the Ministry of Information and Communications, Thailand, and is also head of the Business Advisory Group in the ongoing US - Vietnam ICT Dialogue. He also represented CompTIA and the IT industry at the Sixth WTO Ministerial Conference in Hong Kong in 2005.

Mike also regularly acts as chairman, moderator and speaker at regional ICT events; is a frequent contributor to the business press. He is an active member of the IT, IP and Telecom committees at a number of Amcham's in Hong Kong, Beijing, Manila, Kuala Lumpur and Hanoi, where he is the Chair of the IT, IP and Telecom's Committee, since 2007.

When not occupying seat 54C on Cathay Pacific, Mike enjoys boating in Hong Kong with his wife, Lily. He recently completed a long-standing dream to sail around Cape Horn, Chile, as skipper of a 13-metre alloy sloop.

Henk ten Bos is Chief Information Officer at Ageas (formally Fortis) and since 2009 responsible for managing the IT activities of the life insurance company in Hong Kong. He also provides regional support on Operations and IT to the joint ventures of Ageas in Asia.

Before moving to Hong Kong his previous assignment in Asia has been for Etiqa Insurance & Takaful (a joint venture between Ageas and Maybank) in Malaysia where he has setup a Business Analyst department to support a large IT transformation plan.

Prior to joining Ageas Henk has worked for IG&H Consulting & Interim, a specialized consultancy firm in The Netherlands, where he had a special focus on implementing Front End and Straight Through Processing solutions for Insurance companies. Henk has been active in the Insurance industry for almost 20 years with an ongoing focus on business/ICT alignment.

Linda joined AXA Asia Pacific Holding's Limited as Regional Head of IT for AXA Asia Life since 2004. Linda oversee the IT due diligence & integration for business merger, acquisition and market entry projects, regional solution delivery of distribution channel management, regional information security as well as the regional infrastructure and service operation management for 8 countries. Prior to that Linda had over 20 years IT experience with HSBC in different arenas & subsidiaries re investment banking, security & broking, private banking and trustee services, in Hong Kong and in other countries.

Richard Lowe is Head of IT for Hong Kong & Head of IT Production for Greater China and Australia.

Mr Lowe joined Barclays Capital in 2000 and has since been responsible for Infrastructure Delivery, Programme Management, APAC Data Centres & immediately prior his current role led the IT Production Global Services function based in Singapore. Prior to Barclays he held roles at Natwest Markets and ABN Amro.

Mr Lowe's career spans multiple locations including London, Frankfurt, New York, Singapore and Hong Kong.

August Chan is the Head of IT of CASH, a conglomerate with businesses in financial services, retails and on-line entertainment, operating as CASH Financial Services, CASH Retail Management/Pricerite and Moli. He has taken up various, both business and technical, roles in different business units within the group in China and Hong Kong. August has rich IT experiences in diverse industries like finance/insurance, retails, entertainment, government and university, in China, Hong Kong and Australia.

Michael Leung was appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Bank of America (Asia) in March 2000 . Supported by a team of over 240 associates, he manages the Bank's IT functions in its entirety, and also heads up operations planning, products support and corporate services functions.

Michael has many years of local and international experience in IT, focusing largely in the banking and finance industry. Before his current position, he had worked with a number of regional banks in IT and business development positions. Michael's earlier career was in business consulting and sales support with three leading international firms in Europe, Australia and Hong Kong.

Mr Leung holds a Master's degree from The Netherlands and a Bachelor from CUHK. He has attended several executive programs at LBS, MIT Sloan, and has a 1st honor diploma from Retail Banking Graduate School at University of Virginia. A Fellow of the HK Computer Society and HK Institute of Directors, Mr. Leung is a seasoned speaker and panelist on a range of topics.

Dr. Paul Tak Shing Liu, age 46 (as of year 2009), is the IT Strategy department head and manager of Information Technology Division of Chong Hing Bank Ltd., a director of Chong Hing Information Technology Ltd., and a school manager of Liu Po Shan Memorial College.

Dr. Liu was awarded PhD. degree in Electrical Engineering from McGill University, Montreal, Quebec, in 1993. From Lakehead University, Thunder Bay, Ontario, Dr. Liu was awarded M.Sc.(Physics) (1989) , H.B.Sc. (Physics)(1987) , B.Eng.(Electrical Engineering) (1986) , and B.Sc. (1984). He was also awarded Dean of Science medal, Lakehead University, 1984. Dr. Liu has working experience in Data Mining and Artificial Intelligence, workflow systems, banking system, stock trading, hospital application, simulation , and microwave component design.

Dr. Liu specializes in banking applications, workflow system, data-mining, artificial intelligence, finite element method and system simulation, etc. He is also members of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Hong Kong Computer Society (HKCS) and Hong Kong Institute of Directors (HKIoD).

Sanker Narayan heads Client Trading and Execution IT for Credit Suisse in AsiaPAcific, covering Electronic trading and Cash Equities Technology across the region. With Credit Suisse for 10 years, and with an overall experience of more than 20 years in FInancial Services IT, Sanker has previously worked with Bank of America and Citicorp in technology functions across Investment Banking and Corporate and Retail Banking.

As Executive Director of End User Computing, Jonathan is responsible for Morgan Stanley's user productivity platform in Asia. This includes desktop, collaboration, communications, mobility, virtualization, remote computing, business intelligence, and other enterprise applications.

Jonathan has over 25 years experience in IT including 16 years focused on the Financial Services Industry. During this period, Jonathan has had responsibility across IT infrastructure including hardware, data, middleware, user facing applications, and security.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Jonathan was a Principal Consultant with Microsoft focused on Financial Services Infrastructure.

Jonathan holds degrees in Jurisprudence from Oxford University.

Dennis joined Nomura in May 2007 to cover IT Risk & Control for Asia Ex-Japan and his professional areas are in Asia Pacific IT risk management and technology governance. He has over 13 years experience in investment banking technology operation and was previously had 10 years in JPMorgan (1997-2007). Lead Asia Pacific GTI Information Risk Management team in JPMorgan from 2005. Team members consists of India, Australia, Japan, Singapore, and Hong Kong.

Dennis has obtain academic qualifications on: Bachelor degree in electronic engineering, CUHK; Post-graduate Diploma in Information Technology, HKPU; Master degree in Business Administration, HKUST; Master degree of Science in Investment Management, HKUST; Master degree of Science in Investment Management, HKUST & Master degree of Arts in English for profession, HKPU. He have professional qualifications as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) & Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).

Maurice is currently the head of Group IT Risk for Asia Pacific and Middle East (APME) region at Zurich Financial Services. In this role, he oversees the delivery of pragmatic and business driven information security services including baseline controls assessment, security metrics, risk consulting, and security awareness across the region. Maurice is also the global lead for the computer security incident response team (CSIRT). Prior to Zurich, he has extensive experience in IT operational security and risk management with ING in Hong Kong.

Maurice's expertise, particularly in the financial / insurance industry, includes information risk management, policy development and implementation, vulnerability management, and incident handling. He graduated from the University of British Columbia in Canada, with a major in Computer Science and a minor in Commerce. He holds the professional designations of FFSI, CISSP, CISA, and CISM.

Rich Bolstridge is the Chief Strategist, Financial Services at Akamai Technologies. In this role, Mr. Bolstridge is responsible for driving requirements and innovation, enabling Akamai to deliver solutions to the financial services industry.

Prior to joining Akamai, Mr. Bolstridge was the Director of Architecture at Fidelity Investments, where he led the Competitive Technology Analysis group. While at Fidelity, he played the leading role in moving Fidelity.com from #11 to #1 on the Gomez and Keynote Brokerage Benchmarks. Mr. Bolstridge was also the Founder and President of Ovation Software Testing, a leading solution provider and VAR for Mercury Interactive.

Mr. Bolstridge has over 25 years of industry experience, and for the last 15 years, he has focused on technology solutions for the financial services industry.

Matthew Shriner is responsible for ArcSight's North Asia business including Hong Kong, Macau, mainland China, Taiwan, and Korea. He has been in the IT industry for 16 years with over 9 years on the ground Asia-Pacific experience. He is a noted Security-Industry speaker, and has worked extensively with leading financial institutions across the region on both External and Insider Threats.

Shriner previously held director-level positions with MessageLabs prior to their acquisition by Symantec, and Netli Inc.(acquired by Akamai). He is fluent Mandarin Chinese and holds an MBA in International Management from Thunderbird, the American Graduate School of International Management.

Michael Thompson is the National Sales Manager and principal consultant in Managed Document Services (MDS) of Ricoh Australia. His main responsibility is to lead the Ricoh managed services business development in the Australian market and to deliver solutions for the fast-growing MDS business segment within the nation.

With over 20 years of experience in the office solutions industry, Michael acquired extensive knowledge in the areas of sales and marketing, business development, operation and general management from his past appointments. He has a proven track record in vitalizing business growth and strategies of MDS by offering consultation to large Enterprise clients. He has designed and developed outsourced in-plant print room solutions with integrated on-site fleet management services and document imaging services for Major Public and Private sector clients in Australia.

Michael has completed industrial design diploma studies and holds an advanced certificate in marketing management. He is formally an associate member of Australian Marketing Institute and Australian Materials Handling Institute.

Robert has over a decade of senior management experience in marketing, product management and business development. By working in a variety of technical roles for Service Providers and IT equipment vendors in Australia, Japan and Hong Kong, Robert has gained solid and diverse experience in Asian culture and business practice.

Prior to joining Riverbed, Robert worked at Telstra, Ascend Communications and Juniper Networks, where he spent seven years as Regional Director of Product Management for the Asia Pacific and Japan region.

Robert is fluent in written and spoken Japanese and conversational in Mandarin Chinese. Robert has both B.Sc. and B.E.E (Hons) degrees from the University of Sydney, Australia, and is a permanent resident of Hong Kong.
