Stephen Mak is now the Acting Government Chief Information Officer (GCIO) of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government. His Office is responsible for assisting in formulating policies and strategies and overseeing the implementation of initiatives and programmes to drive the further development of information technology (IT) in Hong Kong.

As GCIO, Mr Mak manages the government IT budget, investment and oversees the governance of government IT programmes. He is the Government's principal advisor on the government IT infrastructure, architectures and systems. He leads and coordinates implementation of the cross-agency E-government programme, championing the adoption of new information technologies and the development of innovative applications, services and content. He is the Head of the IT professionals in the Hong Kong civil service. He also leads efforts in promoting IT in the community and the business sector, facilitating growth and development of the local IT industry and bridging the digital divide.

Keni Muto is a Senior Expert at McKinsey & Company, Business Technology Office in Singapore. He is one of the leaders of IT architecture practice in Asia and focuses on IT architecture and IT infrastructure strategies for high-tech, telecom, airlines and automotive companies. He also serves clients in the computer industry on strategy and growth. He serves clients in Japan, China, Hong Kong, South Korea, Indonesia, Singapore, India, as well as U.S. and Europe.

Before joining McKinsey, Keni was consultant at Andersen Consulting (now accenture) in Sao Paulo, Brazil and San Francisco, U.S.

Keni holds MBA from Yale University in the U.S., and Engineer Degree from Instituto Technologico de Aeronautica in Brazil. He is fluent in Japanese, Portuguese and English.

With over 20 years' experience on IT and back-office operations of foreign banks in Asia Pacific, Emil is currently the China Managing Director of Greater China Capital and Council Member, Chairman of the Cloud Computing Special Interest Group of iProA. He graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a Master of Business Administration. He is a Certified Trainer on Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and also a member of the ISACA with a certificate of CISA. Emil is the Chairman of the Hong Kong IBM User Group, a non-profit-making organization for the IBM users in Hong Kong to do networking and idea exchanges. He is also the chairman of the iProA Web Care Award since 2009. The campaign was established to encourage public and private organizations to build no-barrier web sites for the needy communities.

Edge Zarrella is a Senior Advisory Partner within KPMG's China practice. He brings a career spanning more than 20 years. His specialisations include Business and IT strategy, Business and Finance Transformation, outsourcing and offshoring. His key clients have included companies in Australia, Asia-Pacific and North America. Edge has also significant Asia Pacific experience in the countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines and China. He has worked across the region for over fifteen years. He is the global and regional lead partner for some of the firm's largest financial services and technology companies.

Edge had led many global and regional projects assisting clients in transforming their business and operations. He is a trusted advisor to senior executives and boards on the strategic use and development of information technologies. He has led many complex business and IT projects which involved significant change. He is well versed in helping a client navigate through complexity and change.

David is the Head of IT for the adidas global sourcing business and is located in Hong Kong.

His primary role for adidas is to ensure that the global sourcing architecture is optimised through the effective delivery of industry leading technology and supply chain solutions to the group.

Prior to working at adidas David worked for 11 years in the supply chain consulting sector for JDA/Manugistics during his tenure there he held a number of positions including Director of Supply Chain Strategy and Solutions and VP of Consulting Services. Before arriving at JDA/Manugistics, he headed the Production & Material planning operations for Emi Music Manufacturing.

Now with over 17 years of experience in helping companies across a diverse range of industries develop and achieve strategic IT and supply chain objectives he is now highly experienced in developing and executing technology enabled projects and global supply chain solutions in multinational and multicultural environments around the globe.

David holds an MBA from the University West of England.

I am currently the CIO of Aon Hong Kong, which is the regional headquarters for Aon Asia - the 15-country Asian arm of Aon Corporation. Worldwide, Aon is the largest reinsurance broker and, in 2006 also went from the second largest to become the largest insurance broker in the world in terms of brokerage revenue. It operates in more than 120 countries with over 36,000 employees working in more than 500 offices. Its 2007 global revenue is ranked among the top 250 companies on the Fortune 500.

I joined Aon Hong Kong in 2001 as their first CIO, and have witnessed the crucial change of IT taking on more a strategic role, rather than just an operational one. Increasingly so, CIOs are expected to become a business partner and an opportunity enabler. And the exciting expansion of Aon within Asia has truly demonstrated the importance of IT in facilitating business growth.

I graduated with a First Class Honors Degree in Computer Science from the University of Sydney. I also hold an MBA Degree majoring in Finance from the University of Technology, Sydney.

I spent the early years of my IT career in application development, specializing in Object Oriented design and development, mainly in banking, finance, and government sectors in Australia.

I then returned to Hong Kong to lead an OO development project for the New Chek Lap Kok Airport.

After the new Airport move has completed, I joined Sun Microsystems. It was also at this stage when my career changed direction to focus more on network architecture and infrastructure, which subsequently led me to other career ventures involving setting up and running commercial data centers. The experience in both application development and network infrastructure has provided me with the breadth and depth of IT knowledge and experience, which has proved very useful, given the variety of issues and challenges faced by CIOs.

Putting aside IT as my major personal hobby, I am also a member of the Hong Kong Auxiliary Police Force, and have a strong passion for various sports including skiing and motor cycling.

Mr Vidart is a French citizen currently residing in Hong Kong.

As of July 2007 until now, Mr Vidart is the Regional Chief Information Officer of AXA Asia Life, overseeing the information technology sector of AXA Asia region including Hong Kong, China, India and South East Asia. His responsibilities includes a diversified profile from providing solutions to the business partners to establishing the regional IT strategic roadmap and operating plan to set directions and actions for the IT function.

Mr Vidart is the Chairman and Director of AXA (Guangzhou) Software Development & Services Company Limited.

Mr. Vidart graduated from Cornell University in Operations Research in France. His expertise includes an extensive experience in all facets of IT assignments including network engineering, PC support engineering, telecommunication architecting, productivity saving and strategy planning.

Over 20 years of experience in information technology industry, majority in AXA group, before taking the RCIO role, Mr Vidart was the Transversal Officer in the AXA France Head Office overseeing IT strategy and key investments in Southern Europe. And since 2005 in Northern Europe. scope includes BPO, Mergers and global Productivity programs.

Mr. Mark Edward Ross has over 20 years of senior-level technology management and Board level experience with multi-national financial service companies. Mr. Ross also serves on the Board and as a senior level advisor for several start-up companies.

He started his financial services career at a top investment bank (Credit Suisse), where he was responsible for infrastructure and global application deployment for the company's fixed income and equities trading desks. He went on to become the Regional Chief Information Officer and Chief Architect overseeing European and Asian operations for several dominant and global financial service players (e.g. AIG, Thomson-Reuters).

Mr. Ross is a recognized technology innovator. He was most recently awarded the 2009 IDC innovation award for his work using software-as-a-service solutions. Publications of his work have appeared in numerous journals and periodicals and have also been the basis for a Computer World case study.

Specialties of Mr. Ross include strategic technology planning and the integration of core financial service systems including: insurance, asset management, pensions, trust, fixed income and equities systems.

Mr. Ross completed an engineering and economics degree from Carnegie-Mellon University. He also holds a Masters degree in Finance and International Business from New York University's Stern School of Management and from Hautes Etudes Commerciales - a top European business university based in Paris, France.

August Chan is the Head of IT of CASH, a conglomerate with businesses in financial services, retails and on-line entertainment, operating as CASH Financial Services, CASH Retail Management/Pricerite and Moli. He has taken up various, both business and technical, roles in different business units within the group in China and Hong Kong. August has rich IT experiences in diverse industries like finance/insurance, retails, entertainment, government and university, in China, Hong Kong and Australia.

Horace Chu is the Head of Information Management Services in Gammon Construction Limited, responsible for defining and executing the company's IT strategy. Gammon is a leading construction company in Asia which has been building a wide range of construction projects for over 50 years. Horace is also the chairperson of the IT People Management committee of the Jardine Matheson Group IT Forum.

Prior to joining Gammon Construction, Horace was a Senior Manager in JOS Synergy, a joint-venture between Jardine Matheson and Canadian TELUS focusing on IT outsourcing services in Asia. Horace was particularly focused in IT operations and implementation of large scale ERP and IT infrastructure projects. Horace possesses a broad spectrum of experience including information security, business process re-engineering, managing regional IT operation, and IT architectural servicing. With strong skills in communication and business-IT bridging, Horace is also experienced in pre-sales solutioning and large scale application systems development.

Horace is certified in Project Management, ITIL, and IT Governance, and he holds a Bachelor degree in Computer Systems Engineering from the University of Warwick in UK and an MBA from the University of Hong Kong.

Mr. Roger Seshadri is Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Melco Crown Entertainment Limited, a company listed on the NASDAQ Global Select Market (NASDAQ: MPEL) owning one of only six gaming concessions and sub concessions to operate gaming business in Macau through its Macau subsidiary. Mr. Seshadri has over 25 years of industrial experience in management consulting and information technology.

Prior to joining Melco Crown Entertainment, Mr. Seshadri held several leadership positions in hospitality and gaming industry around 20 years, including Director of Technology for Bally Gaming - managing their offshore gaming software development and developing new electronic games (2006-2007) and Corporate Vice President of Information Technology for Wyndham Hotels & Resorts (2000-2005). Between 1992-2000, he was the Information Technology Director for Caesars Entertainment/ITT Sheraton Gaming and served as a member of the Pioneering Executive Team responsible for obtaining the first gaming license to operate a casino resort in United States. Mr. Seshadri was instrumental in opening and managing Information Technology operations for several casino resorts in various parts of the world in the leadership capacity.

Mr. Seshadri holds a Bachelor's degree in commerce and certifications from various professional organizations namely, Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Novell Engineer (CNE) & American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) (International Associate Member). He has also attended various leadership & technology programs at Harvard Business School & Carnegie Mellon University.

Mr. Jojo Dionaldo has accumulated 18 years of IT career experience and exposures in different industries executing multiple aspects of IT responsibilities and deliverables. He has strong experience and knowledge in managing IT organization on its different phase of evolution from an early stage of starting anew IT organization, leading a matured IT organization and merging of multiple and different IT organizations as a result of M&A exercise of the business.

He has gained extensive experience and knowledge in IT outsourcing and in-sourcing execution and discipline as he has been heavily involved in many years of his IT career.

His skills were further developed and enhanced from 12 years of overseas assignments in different industries applying diverse IT strategies in a multi-cultural environment to execute IT transformations and new ways of thinking from a typical report generator and order taker IT organization to a business enabler and partner.

He graduated with a degree of B.S. Computer Engineering from Adamson University in Manila. He finished his Project Management from Asian Institute of Management (AIM). He continuously develops his business acumen from the collective years of his personal and professional experience. He has filled various roles in local and overseas assignments, wearing multiple hats as Head and Project Manager of different Enterprise Systems and Applications implementation and roll-out. A hands-on manager and technical expert in managing, running and implementing multiple IT domains in different IT facets of verticals such as Pharmaceuticals, Manufacturing and now in Retail industry.

He is Certified PRINCE 2 Practitioner and knowledgeable in PMI Framework that provides complimentary skills of both project management framework and methodologies, a Champion and Certified Lead Auditor in Quality Management Systems and Information Security and IT Service Management. He is also an ITIL Certified Practitioner and knowledgeable in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM)

He always aims to develop, nurture and manage the relationships of his IT ecosystem where the consumers, producers and influencers are aligned with the IT roadmap and vision.

Mr Sunny W K Lee joined The Hong Kong Jockey Club as Executive Director, Information Technology in July 2006. Mr Lee heads a team of about 500 IT professionals, to provide innovative technology solutions that contribute significantly to the Club's mission and strategic objectives.

Mr Lee has extensive IT experience gained in both Hong Kong and overseas. Prior to joining the Jockey Club, he spent 10 years at the Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited (Towngas) where he was an Executive Committee Member and held a number of key positions at the Company, including Chief Information Officer of the Group and Chief Executive Officer of two strategic diversification businesses, iCare.com Limited and Towngas Telecommunications Company Limited.

Between 1990 to 1996, Mr Lee was Vice President and Systems Director of the Bank of America in Hong Kong, where he played a key role in building up IT capabilities to support the Bank's business expansion in Asia. He has also previously held key IT positions in the financial, management consulting and manufacturing industries in the USA.

Mr Lee has a long record of serving in many high level advisory committees in the academic, professional and community arena. As well as being a member of the Hong Kong SAR Digital 21 Advisory Committee, Mr Lee is Immediate Past President of the Hong Kong Computer Society. He was a recipient of Hong Kong's Ten Outstanding Young Digi Persons Award in 1999, the Asia CIO Award in 2002 and 2007, the China Top CIO Award in 2007, 2009 Asian IT Influencer by MIS Asia Magazine, and 2009 China Best Value CIO Award.

Mr Lee was appointed a Justice of the Peace in 2010 and was a torchbearer for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games torch relay in Hong Kong, representing Hong Kong's IT achievers.

Geoffrey Dengate has been the Director, Information Technology Services at the University of Hong Kong since January 2009. Previously, he was the Director, Information & Communication Technology Services at Griffith University for 17 years following 15 years at the University of Queensland.

Geoff is on the steering committee of the Joint Universities Computer Centre Limited in Hong Kong and sits on the Board of Management. He is a member of the Consultative & Advisory Panel of the Hong Kong Internet Registration Corporation Ltd. He was on the Executive Committee of the Council of Australian University Directors of Information Technology (CAUDIT) for 10 years and was the Chair in 2001 & 2002. He was instrumental in establishing and was the founding Co-Director of the residential CAUDIT-EDUCAUSE Institute for managers in Information Services in Australasian universities. He was an inaugural member of the EDUCAUSE Evolving Technologies Committee in 2000 & 2001. Geoff represented the Australian higher education sector on the Australian Research Information Infrastructure Committee (ARIIC), the Middleware Action Plan and Strategy Committee (MAPS), and the Meta Access Management Systems (MAMS) Project Steering Committee.

Geoff served on the Board of Directors of Impart Corporation and Higher Ed Systems Pty Ltd. Geoff has a Bachelor of Science (Mathematics), a Graduate Diploma of Information Processing, and an MBA. He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Karon joined Deloitte in 1998 and is the regional consulting leader specialising in Quality and Risk Management for the Asia Pacific region including Japan. Karon is also the functional risk leader for Consulting with Deloitte China. At present, he leads the Hong Kong and Southern China consulting practices and is responsible for the public sector services in Hong Kong with focus in the areas of governance, risk, compliances, and IT/ERP planning and implementation. Karon is also the functional representative on behalf of consulting practice in the Environment Management Taskforce in Deloitte.

Karon is responsible for business planning and development, leading the management and delivery of a full range of services in risk management, system design and implementation, financial process re-engineering, internal controls review, and change management in both Hong Kong and Mainland China markets. Karon's clients include multinational enterprises as well as organisations in the public sector organisations, covering a broad spectrum of industries and sectors. He regularly delivers speeches to the local universities for the introduction of project management and relevant quality assurance.

Allen Wong is an Associate Director in Deloitte Consulting with expertise in the management, design and implementation of business and IT transformations. He has over 12 years of consulting experience focusing on IT strategy development, business process re-engineering and technology implementations in Hong Kong, Canada, the U.S. and Europe, Allen has also worked in various industries including Financial Services, Public Sector, Telecommunications and Healthcare. His representative clients include: ADP, Merrill Lynch, ING, Towers Perrin, eBay, Mattel, Heinz, Amgen, IBM, Dell, AT&T, Johnson & Johnson, Amgen, CLP and the HKSAR Government.

Matthew Shriner is responsible for ArcSight's North Asia business including Hong Kong, Macau, mainland China, Taiwan, and Korea. He has been in the IT industry for 16 years with over 9 years on the ground Asia-Pacific experience. He is a noted Security-Industry speaker, and has worked extensively with leading financial institutions across the region on both External and Insider Threats.

Shriner previously held director-level positions with MessageLabs prior to their acquisition by Symantec, and Netli Inc.(acquired by Akamai). He is fluent Mandarin Chinese and holds an MBA in International Management from Thunderbird, the American Graduate School of International Management.

Mr. Por Lau is the Sales Director, Emerson Network Power (Hong Kong) Limited.

He is responsible for developing and seizing new business and driving overall sales across all segments. Por will also engage in strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing salesforce effectiveness and partner relations.

Por started his career with Emerson Network Power - Embedded Computing & Power (i.e. ASTEC) in 2000 as Sales Manager, ASP Products. In 2003, he was then promoted to Sales Director, Asia Distribution where he was based in Shanghai during the last two years of his assignment. In December 2007, Por transferred to Network Power System Asia and relocated to Manila to serve as Managing Director for ENP Philippines Market Unit until July this year. Por has successfully led the Philippines market unit to thrive through waves of challenges resulting in a stronger organization to capitalize on the tremendous potential in line with the Asia vertical strategy.

Por holds a Bachelor degree of Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Hong Kong and an Executive MBA from China Europe International Business School (CEIBS).

Andrew Sampson is the Hitachi Data Systems' general manager, Hong Kong and Macau, and the director of managed and cloud services, Asia Pacific. Andrew is responsible for overseeing and devising business strategies for Hitachi Data Systems (HDS) in Hong Kong and Macau. He is also responsible for managing and collaborating business opportunities for HDS managed and cloud services practice across Asia Pacific.

A veteran of the local Information Technology and Telecommunications industries in Hong Kong, Andrew has held various sales, marketing and general management roles during his over 15 years stint in the territory.

Prior to joining HDS, he was the Managing Director of NetStar Hong Kong. He has also taken up a regional Product Marketing position at Level (3) and was General Manager of Sales at New T&T previously. Andrew started his career in Hong Kong with IBM where he spent nine years in various sales roles.

He graduates from Kellogg-HKUST Executive Master in Business Administration Program (EMBA) and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics.

Sanjeev Kumar has been working in ICT industry for more than 17 years. Currently heading Cloud Practice & Business Development for IT Services business unit in Orange Business Services, Asia Pacific (APAC), he leads the overall Cloud computing initiative for APAC and actively contributes to the global Cloud Computing "Think Tank" program. As strategic initiative he has been involved in developing the cloud computing service provider framework and strategic roadmap for the company.

Prior to Orange, He worked for Hewlett Packard Singapore in various leadership roles.

Sanjeev brings a wealth of experience in Application & Enterprise Infrastructure solutions. He has directly managed a diversified team size of 110+ people across the Asia Pacific region with P&L responsibility of $60M portfolio comprising Data Center Transformation and IT Shared Services, Service management (ITSS), Information Lifecycle management (ILM), Server, Storage Solutions and SAP Technology Solutions.

Sanjeev also served as Vice-Chairman for SAP partner advisory board, Singapore chapter & he is currently on the executive committee board for Singapore Infocom Technology forum (SiTF) SOA Chapter.

Sanjeev earned a MBA in General Management from University of South Australia in 2002 and he has been based in Singapore since 1997.

Edward Yeung is the General Manager of VMware Greater China. Edward is responsible for driving the company's growth and expansion in Greater China region including Hong Kong, China, Macau and Taiwan.

An industry veteran, Edward is responsible for establishing the company's go-to-market strategies and aligning business strategies to technology requirements to accelerate the adoption of VMware¡¦s virtual infrastructure solutions.

Prior to joining VMware, Edward was the Managing Director of Greater China, Business Objects for over 5 years where he established the China office and oversaw its rapid growth. Edward has over 20 years of industry experience. Prior to Business Objects, Edward headed up the Greater China operations of a global supplier of content management solutions. In this role, Edward was responsible for establishing offices in Greater China and growing its regional business into a market leadership position.

An industry expert, Edward speaks regularly on topics on innovative technology adoption at industry events in Greater China.

As Regional Sales Vice President, for Salesforce.com, Simon is responsible for managing the team that brings innovation and success in the cloud to companies in ASEAN, China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, as well as Global Accounts in the APAC Region.

Simon brings to his role more than 15 years¡¦ experience in IT. Prior to joining salesforce.com, he was General Manager for the Government, Health and Education sectors across ASEAN and the South Asia Growth Economies at Oracle. In this role, he was responsible for the strategic direction, executive relationships with customers and partners, and the delivery of IT solutions to national and local government agencies. Prior to this, Mr. Davies held various senior management positions in Citigroup and PricewaterhouseCoopers, with regional experience spanning Asia Pacific.

Simon holds a Bachelor of Commerce, majored in Accounting & Finance; and a Bachelor of Science, majored in Computer Science, from the University of Melbourne, Australia.
