Mike is an appointed expert to JTC-1 of the ISO in Geneva working on several standards sub groups. He is also an active member of a number of regional business chambers and associations, including chairman of the IT, IPR and Telecom Committee, at Amcham Hanoi an honorary position he has held since 2007.

Prior to this he spent six years as Director of Public Policy, Asia - Pacific for a global IT business association, CompTIA, opening the A-P office in Hong Kong in late 2003. He has held a key commercial position with Riverbed Technology of California and was a Senior Manager with Standard Chartered Bank PLC, in the wholesale banks trade finance/supply chain and e-commerce group for Asia. Previously he was the founding COO of the e-commerce division of Noble Group a major physical commodities supplier.

Having served the firm in numerous countries, he also led the Internet Security Consulting Services in the West Coast of both Canada and United States of America. Prior to joining the firm, he worked in different internal audit departments within the Federal Government of Canada, with specialization in System Process Consulting and Business Process Re-engineering as well as Risk Management.

Mr. Koo is certified to implement WebTrust Assurance Services and is the founder of Certification Authority/Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) initiative for Hong Kong office. He plays a key role in the WebTrust and Certification Authority for CARO compliance standard setting committee for the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA).

During his 28 year career as Special Agent Mr. Demeter conducted and managed numerous financial crimes and money laundering investigations involving narcotics trafficking, organized crime, bank fraud, loan fraud, healthcare and labor fraud, tax evasion and many other federal crimes and worked extensively in the Florida Caribbean Drug Task Force and Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF). Mr. Demeter was also the Undercover Program Manager for Southeast US undercover operations, and managed and conducted undercover operations with local, State and Federal law enforcement agencies throughout his career.

Mr. Demeter was assigned in 1997 as the first US Treasury, Criminal Investigation Division Attache and Special Agent in Charge of the Asia Pacific Region at the US Consulate in Hong Kong, prior to his retirement in September 2001, covering responsibility for the Asia/Pacific region.

In his role as Attache Mr. Demeter served as a US Delegate to the OECD Financial Action Task Force (FATF) and the Asia Pacific Group (APG) on Money Laundering and was also involved in various projects for the Agency for International Development (AID) relating to financial and related crimes, throughout the Asia Pacific region.
Mr. Demeter is a Certified Instructor and has instructed in Basic and Advanced Criminal Investigation techniques for financial and other crimes and management of criminal investigations at the Federal Law Enforcement Academy in the US and at the International Law Enforcement Academy in Bangkok, Thailand.

Mr. Demeter has been with Citigroup Investigations since October 2001 and is currently the Regional Director of Investigations where he manages investigations of internal and external financial crimes, ethics and related employee misconduct violations.

Mr. Demeter is a Certified Fraud Examiner and a member of the Board of Directors of the Hong Kong chapter of the ACFE, and is also a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) and a member of the Board of Directors of the Hong Kong chapter of the ACAMS.

Mr. Demeter has a Bachelor Degree in Business Management and a MBA.

Based in Hong Kong, Endre was appointed to this role in August 2010 where was initially tasked with leading Citi's Electronic Markets development in Asia-Pacific, including the CitiDirect® suite of products, Order Trade Manager (CitiConnect), Execution-to-Custody (E2C) as well as a variety of other connectivity solutions. E2C quickly became his primary focus as the industry participants demanded and recognized the value of this unique and innovative solution.

Endre is additionally in charge of working with the bank's Intermediaries group to expand Citi's on-exchange clearing platform in Asia-Pacific, with a focus on the changing roles of local exchanges, clearing and securities depositories, as well as deploying E2C for Citi's Investor clients in cooperation with Open Investor.

An electronic markets specialist and one of Citi's main spokespersons, he speaks at conferences regularly throughout the Asia-Pacific region discussing industry trends, product updates and highlighting his views on the future of the electronic trading market in Asia.

Prior to joining Citi, Endre was with Bloomberg LP for nearly 15 years where he held a number of senior management roles, including Asia Pacific Senior Equity Specialist, Head of Execution Management.

Sarabjit started his career with Zenith computers in 1989, has worked for Citibank and has been working with Standard Chartered Group for over 18 years. Over the years, he has acquired skills in Business Relationship Management, Service Management, Transition, Systems Integration, Project Management, Efficient Resource Management (both people and financial), Techno commercial negotiations, Operations and Quality (Six Sigma, ISO 9002).

Sarabjit has extensive exposure in critical application support in the Banks production environment and has experience in serving internal as well as external customers.

In his current role, he is the Head of Technology Management for Hong Kong & NEA in Standard Chartered Bank (HK) Limited.

Sarabjit is cheerful, optimistic, enthusiastic and infects others with own enthusiasm. He is an active cricket enthusiast and has played for the Scope International team. He likes playing Cricket, Table Tennis, Tennis and Swimming. When on vacation he enjoys traveling with family, watching movies and likes to teach his daughters. He loves eating sea food and can cook quite well.

In addition, Nick is also responsible for working with key partners and technology solutions providers to help develop and test next generation of commerce enabling solutions including mobile commerce, information services & loyalty program management.

Nick has over 14 years of experience in the payments industry and prior to Visa, he was responsible for strategy & new business development for American Express in US and Samsung Card in Korea. Nick holds a Bachelor Degree in Economics from University of Rochester and MBA from Cornell University.

With over eighteen years of IT Security experience, John has developed an innate understanding of the complex challenges that face today's hyper connected world. John's career initially started in the military and has transitioned through several major industries such as financial services and telecommunications. John's exposure to multiple industry verticals has allowed him to hone his skills to better understand how organizations can balance their IT security investments to minimize risk yet maximize their opportunities.

Hailing from New Zealand, John relocated to Singapore in 2006, and now calls it home. Prior to Singapore, John had lived in Australia in addition to his homeland of New Zealand. Now that he's based in Asia, John has taken the opportunity to "try" and learn to speak, read, and write conversational Mandarin, and is continuing to improve his understanding of Asian culture.

Prior to joining CenturyLink Technology Solutions (formerly known as Savvis), Gery was spearheading NGA's growth in the region with responsibility for all aspects of the company’s Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa operations including sales, marketing, R&D and customer service. Gery also led the growth of Red Hat’s APAC region and the transformation of the EMC Services business across AsiaPac and Japan. He led the South East Asia and Technology Practice at Deloitte Consulting and had a successful career with SAP, including the founding and launch of SAP Korea. He began his IT career in Switzerland working at IBM.

Gery is well-recognised within the region as an executive with broad sales and operations abilities. He is a handson leader with deep software, services, solutions and systems integration experience across industries from Financial Services, Telco and Manufacturing to Government services. He is very experienced in leading groups across a wide geography and prides himself on building strong teams.

Prior to Juniper, CK was with IBM as the Global Technology Services (GTS) Advisory Sales Specialist for network infrastructure, network security and data centre solutions. His previous experience included five years as a Technical Marketing Engineer for Intel's Network Products Division covering Asia-Pacific and in Novell as a Systems Engineer.

CK has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry, covering technologies from network infrastructure, network operating systems, network security, VoIP and wireless solutions.

Ternes has over 20 years of experience in information technology, having held senior management roles at Tibco Software, MetaStorm, Helveta, Staffware and Optika. Ternes is experienced in presenting to all levels of an organization - from executive to technical.

Prior to TIS, Alex founded Asiasoft Global, a document management ISV with offices around Asia, which was then acquired by TIS in 2007. A graduate from National University Of Singapore, School Of Computing, Alex has also served as President of Mobile Alliance Singapore and was on the Executive Council of Singapore Infocomm Technology Federation (SITF) as well as the Vice Chairman of SITF's Wireless and Best Sourcing Chapters.

As Senior Manager (Systems Engineering), Toon Chwee is responsible for leading a team of pre-sales consultant to support the Enterprise Account team, handling major accounts in the Hong Kong territory. He has also obtained the Certified Information Security Systems Professional (CISSP), VMware Certified Professional (VCP) and VMware Certified Professional (VCP) - Cloud certification.

Prior to joining VMware, Toon Chwee was a pre-sales Consultant at RSA Security, where he was involved in many major information security implementations in South Asia.
