Vishal Dalal

Vishal joined McKinsey two years ago and is a Junior Partner in the Singapore office where he works on operations and technology strategy for financial institutions and governments. He is currently obsessed with helping banks find the soft spot in digital. He advises various CXOs on this issue.

Prior to joining McKinsey, Vishal spent 14 years as a banker in Citibank, Barclays and other financial institutions carrying out mission critical assignments in operations and technology.

Vishal holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management and an engineering degree from the University of Pune.

Bob leads KPMG’s CIO Advisory Centre of Excellence in the Asia Pacific region, linking in with counterparts in North America and Europe to provide global perspectives and advice to technology leaders and decision makers.

He travels extensively in the region, sharing insights with both clients and KPMG member firms on topics such as development of digital business strategies, service management and business management of IT for local, regional and global firms. Bob also advises businesses and government on the impact of mobile, cloud, analytics and other emerging technologies on their operating model.

  Prior to taking the position of Head of the ASPAC CIO Advisory Centre of Excellence, Bob was the Chief Technology Officer at CSC, leading teams across Asia/Pacific,. Previously, Bob established and then managed Research for Gartner across Asia/Pacific and was a Gartner Research Fellow. Bob has also held Board level advisory roles in the Australian Government as an industry expert for the NSW Ministry of Finance as well as advisory roles for the Beijing Olympics, Dalian city and the city of Shanghai.

Previously, Bob has been a Director in KPMG’s IT Advisory practice in Australia and has managed ASPAC for Candle Corporation. Bob has also started several technology firms, including Singapore-registered Asia Online (automated machine translation software) and Qualix (exclusive distributor for Tivoli Systems in ASPAC).

With extensive contacts throughout the region, Bob is regularly featured in the press, technology periodicals and is a recognised thought-leader, presenting at regional and global conferences.


Daryl Pereira

Daryl is a Partner with KPMG Consulting, where he leads a regional team focusing on IT Risk Management and Information Security for the Financial Services industry.

Daryl has spent over 18 years working in various global and regional leadership roles in IT Consulting and in Banking. He specialises in IT Governance, IT risk and security management, project management, COO business management and IT audit.

Prior to joining KPMG he was Head of PMO & Program Governance at Deutsche Bank and oversaw a £á500M global portfolio of Global Banking IT and Capital Markets programs managed by 150 project managers based in New York, London, Frankfurt and Singapore. Before this, Daryl was COO Business Manager and deputy to the COO for Investment Banking IT Asia-Pacific where he was responsible for general management of the Technology Division with over 2800 staff. He managed annual planning & budgeting, cost optimisation, central PMO governance, IT risk & regulatory management, and IT process transformation. His former roles include Regional Head of IT Audit for Deutsche Bank Asia-Pacific, and Group Audit Manager (Head) of IT Audit for Westpac Bank in Sydney.

Daryl is Past President of ISACA Singapore, and is currently the Chairman of ISACA International's Corporate Social Responsibility program. Daryl holds a Bachelors degree in Commerce (Accounting) and a Master of Information Technology from the University of Canberra, as well as a MBA from Manchester Business School. He is a qualified CPA (Aust), CISA, and CRISC.

Arron Holmes is Director of IT and Change Management at Aviva Singapore. Arron is a Banking and Insurance professional with over 20 year of experience in Information Technology and Operations. He is currently responsible for building out the capability of a new joint venture in Jakarta, Indonesia between Aviva and the Astra Group, one of Indonesia’s largest and most prestigious companies.
