Terick Chiu

As the Vice President, Greater China Team Leader for the Gartner Executive Programs, Terick leads a team of Executive Partners across Greater China (China, Hong Kong and Taiwan), assisting C Level executives in many commercial and public organisations in a wide range of strategic information technology decision matters. In addition to the regional leadership responsibilities, Terick also personally provides strategic advisory to many C level executives relating to topics like digital transformation, digital strategy, business transformation, IT strategy formation, positioning of IT organisation, technology selection to IT organisation transformation.

Prior to joining Gartner, Terick was the Asia Pacific Regional IT Director for MindShare and GroupM, the largest and leading advertising media group in Asia Pacific supporting 25 offices and 3000 users. Key achievements included leading the transformation of the IT operation to support rapid business growth and established best practice IT operation processes across the whole Asia Pacific region.

Previously, Terick also took on regional management roles in a number of companies including MRO Software in Asia and IBM Global Services in Australia providing IT advisory and services to many leading organizations in Asia Pacific.

Terick has a degree in Computer Science from University of Sydney and a post graduate degree with Australia Graduate School of Management.

Jeremy Pizzala is currently the lead Partner for EY's Financial Services Cyber Risk practice in Asia Pacific. Over the past 20 years, Jeremy has worked with clients in multiple industries, in particular Financial Services, Communications and Government, with a deep understanding and experience across consulting, systems integration and business transformation.

In the past 14 years Jeremy has focused on Information Security and Technology Risk Management - ensuring that clients have appropriate actionable strategies in place to protect their organizational assets from both internal and external risk, while ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards. In doing this, Jeremy has established consulting led organizations across the Asia Pacific region, developed market offerings and led and motivated teams to ensure clients achieve tangible and sustainable business outcomes from their technology investments.

In addition to his client serving work, Jeremy has also held various roles in the banking industry, focusing on: the transformation of payment channels within the business markets segment to reduce processing costs and increase customer experience and satisfaction; development and launch of the first mobile payment platform into the home market; and implementation of stored value payment schemes in the consumer segment.

Dr. Charm is an experienced and reputable business leader and information technology professional in Asia Pacific. He has more than 25 years of management experience from leading multinational and Chinese companies in Asia. Dr. Charm was Associate Partner of IBM GBS Greater China, Regional Head of BI Competence Centre for HSBC Asia Pacific, General Manager of Oracle (BI Division) and Hyperion Greater China, and General Manager of Kingdee Asia Pacific, and Executive of Jardine Pacific.

Dr. Charm specializes in big data, fintech, strategy, customer experience, innovation, business transformation and internationalization for emerging enterprises. His vision is to leverage on innovative strategies and technologies to transform traditional enterprises for their sustainable growth, revolutionize Asian cities to become data-driven Smart City, and nurture startups to transform innovation into profitable business by providing them consultancy and training services. Dr. Charm currently acts as strategy advisor for a number of companies and his executive students in traditional industries and fast-growing big data and fintech companies in Greater China and Asia.

Dr. Charm has built a solid and wide network in business, ICT, public and academia areas in Asia as well as the world. Apart from his leadership roles in Hong Kong Computer Society (HKCS), he acts as advisor for a number of business and IT organizations, such as, Entrepreneurship Center - Hong Kong Cyberport, Incubation Center - Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks, Big Data Initiative - Malaysia’s Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC), Tung Wah Hospital, Hang Seng Management College, etc. Dr. Charm has been assessment judges for a number of IT and business competitions. He regularly contributes articles to widely-read publications in Asia, and often chairs, speaks and moderates international and local IT and business conferences in Asia Pacific. Dr. Charm is also helping EMBA Program of Chinese University of Hong Kong where he interviews senior business leaders from China and write case studies on his findings. He is authoring a few books on strategy, big data and fintech, and will be published in 2016.

Dr. Charm possesses Doctor of Business Administration, MBA and B.Sc. degree. He completed senior executive programs from Harvard, MIT, UC-Berkeley and CEIBS. Dr. Charm is a TDWI Certified BI Professional and completed a Big Data Certification Program of MIT. He is also appointed as adjunct associate professor/lecturer for leading universities including University of Hong Kong and Tsinghua University in Beijing, and soon adjunct associate professor of Chinese University of Hong Kong and Certified Drucker Educator.

Alyssa Tam

Originally from Vietnam, Alyssa is the Director and Head of Innovation Acceleration of AIA EDGE, Group Innovation unit in AIA.

With nearly 20 years of global experience, Alyssa has extensive network in Consulting, Banking, and Insurance industry in the region. Her experience spans across multiple disciplines in Analytics, Marketing and Strategy. Prior to her role in AIA EDGE, Alyssa ran Regional CRM for AIG and was the Executive Director of Global Sales Technology at Goldman Sachs Asia. Her career highlights include running the IPO Marketing and Communications Workstream of the AIA IPO, the world’s largest IPO in 2010.

In recent years, Alyssa ventured into the Strategy and Innovation space where she believes will bring the most disruption to the Healthcare and Insurance industry. She set up the AIA Accelerator, Asia’s first digital health corporate accelerator with a goal to accelerate AIA’s innovation agenda. Alyssa is also the Founder and Executive Director of the AIA Emerging Entrepreneur Challenge, a youth innovation program which children age between 8-12 pitch business ideas to change the world and win prizes.

Alyssa is a speaker at international forum with the most recent keynote address at Clickz Live Hong Kong 2015. She also judged at numerous start-ups pitch competitions such as the HKUST Designathon, StartmeupHK Fintech Pitch 2015, nd Citi Mobile Challenge.

Fluent in English, Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese Chinese, and Vietnamese, Alyssa holds a B.S. in Applied Mathematics and M.S. in Statistics from Georgia Institute of Technology and is currently the candidate of the Strategy and Innovation Diploma at Oxford University Said Business School.

Prior to that he was an Executive Director in Technology Audit at Goldman Sachs, and before that, held a number of Information Security roles within technology and consulting organisations in the UK.

Steven holds a BA from Leeds University and an MSc in Information Systems from Brighton University.

In this current role with Arbor Networks, apart from actively involved in the global research projects, CF works closely with customers in the Asia Pacific region to develop and optimize approaches for their network security solution to ensure optimal deployment and best customer satisfaction.

Justin Hammond

He grew the business over 280% in the 5 years he served there.

With close to 20 years in IT Security domain, Justin has held roles such as IT Security Manager for a Large Regional Bank, ICT and Security Manager for a Singapore Based System Integrator as well as Principle Consultant Roles for Large Security Vendors.

Bryce Boland

Bryce has worked as an information security professional for over 16 years. Prior to joining FireEye, he was the Security CTO for UBS, responsible for groupwide security strategy, architecture, and driving security requirements into all technology development. He also built and ran UBS's application security programme, the security testing/penetration testing programme, and the security consulting team. In previous roles at UBS he was responsible for IT Risk Management in the APAC region, the architec of the Security Operations Centre, and the architecture of the entitlements management systems.

Previously, Bryce worked for ABN AMRO as a technology risk management consultant, where he built vulnerability management solutions, conducted penetration tests, and consulted on security for major infrastructure and application programmes. He was also a member of the ABN AMRO GCIRT and Enterprise Network Steering Committee. He has a Master's degree in Computer Science with a thesis in Cryptographic protocols.

Bryce has lived and worked in New Zealand, Australia, UK, Switzerland, and now Singapore. His passion for hacking technology began at the age of 6 soldering memory into his ZX-81 on the kitchen sink.

Joseph Green

Joe Green is the Vice President of Systems Engineering for Asia Pacific at Palo Alto Networks. Based in Hong Kong, he leads the pre-sales Systems Engineering team across Asia Pacific, with a strong focus on growing the business in this region.

Joe recently joined Palo Alto Networks after 11 years at Juniper Networks. He was Vice President of Systems Engineers at Juniper Networks for Asia Pacific. His responsibilities spanned all Pre-Sales Engineers, Demo and POC labs and Centers of Excellence. Prior to Juniper, he worked for NetScreen Technologies, Check Point Software, Trident Data Systems and Sumitomo. His career has been divided between North America and Asia Pacific.

Manfred Hung

He was a frequent speaker in Hong Kong on information security topics. Key interests are Firewall/IDS/IPS technologies, DLP, honeypots, vulnerability assessment and penetration test, security information management solutions. He holds RSA CSE, CEH, CHFI.

Rob Hinson

Rob Hinson works in business development at AirWatch by VMware, the leading Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) provider. In this role, Hinson manages the North Asia markets, focusing on providing clients in Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Japan, and Korea with enterprise mobility management solutions to optimize their mobility strategy. He has experience across all verticals, having worked with premier clients in industries including aviation, hospitality, utilities, retail, education and government.

Prior to joining AirWatch, Hinson worked as a financial analyst for the German company Hansgrohe, where he headed projects to lower production costs and increase margins, performed inventory spot checks, created annual budgets, analyzed sales numbers, and ensured accurate reporting of company profits and costs.

Hinson graduated from the University of Georgia with bachelor’s degrees in international business and German.
