From 2000, Geoff was the Group Enterprise Architect for Dairy Farm International (DFI); then the VP Technology - Hotel Development for Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group (MOHG) until mid-2010; he continues to provide IT governance services to DFI's and MOHG's parent company, Jardine Matheson Limited.

Professionally Geoff's very strong background in Enterprise Architecture led naturally to IT strategy, governance and risk management. His successful transition into broader management roles outside of IT as a Business-Technology professional has heightened his understanding of the challenges faced by organisations in achieving convergence, not just alignment, of IT with the business.

Geoff is a well-respected technology commentator in the Asia Pacific region especially in the areas of IT strategy, security and governance. Geoff is an Australian, married with two children and lives in Hong Kong. He holds a MBA in Finance from the University of Technology Sydney and is a Member of the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers), ISACA (Information Systems Audit and Control Association), a Senior Member of the Australian Computer Society (ACS); and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).

Having served the firm in numerous countries, he also led the Internet Security Consulting Services in the West Coast of both Canada and United States of America. Prior to joining the firm, he worked in different internal audit departments within the Federal Government of Canada, with specialization in System Process Consulting and Business Process Re-engineering as well as Risk Management.

Mr. Koo is certified to implement WebTrust Assurance Services and is the founder of Certification Authority/Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) initiative for Hong Kong office. He plays a key role in the WebTrust and Certification Authority for CARO compliance standard setting committee for the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA).

Trained as an engineer, his technical expertise spans from hardware design, software development to lectureship in tertiary institutions. In addition to his technical background, he has gained extensive business and management experience through general management roles in the finance, telecommunication, logistics, transportation and aviation industries.

As Chief Information Officer, he is responsible for the strategic planning and provisioning of IT services to the Hong Kong International Airport and its community. He is also active in engaging community work in promoting IT industry development, green IT, IT innovation and IT talent cultivation.

Mr. Bien obtained his BSc Degree (Hons) in Computer Engineering from Queen's University, Canada in 1981 and his MSc Degree in Communication Engineering from Imperial College, University of London in 1986.

Mr. Locandro joins Cathay Pacific from CLP where he served as Director, Group Information TechnologyˇXa position he took up in May 2004.

A veteran in IT management, consulting and marketing, Mr Locandro has, prior to CLP, held a variety of Chief Information Officer posts in various industry sectors ranging from energy to entertainment.

Mr. Locandro is a member of the Hong Kong SAR government's Digital 21 Strategy Advisory Committee as well as several other IT related advisory boards for universities and the Hong Kong Computer Society.

He holds a bachelor's degree in Economics and Commerce from University of Melbourne, a graduate diploma in Marketing from Monash University and Strategic Application of Information Technology from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Prior to joining the Club, Christoph was CIO of Telekom Deutschland, one of the world's leading telecommunications and information technology companies, active in about 50 countries worldwide. As member of the Board of Telekom Deutschland, Christoph was responsible for the merger and transformation of the former T-Home and T-Mobile IT Divisions into the new IT division for the whole German mobile and fixed network business.

Christoph is a seasoned CIO and had assumed CIO positions with the large corporations including Lufthansa, O2 and Deutsche Telekom and worked in Asia as the CIO of PT Satelindo based in Jakarta. He has proven experience in leading various large and complex IT programmes that have significantly enhanced business performance and customer satisfaction.

Prior to this, he was VP, Group IT & Business Planning Development of Contempo Limited, a Hong Kong-based global sourcing and supply chain management solutions provider. On the IT side, he was responsible for the global IT function. He has led the successful development of the BI/data warehouse and the web-enabled online collaboration platform for internal staffs, vendors and clients. On the Business Planning Development side, Sidney was responsible for business process re-engineering, contract management, business analysis and strategy planning, business operation support, policy and procedure development and review.

He was IT director of Linmark Group, also a HK-based and listed global sourcing agent in charge of strategic planning, application development and operations of IT. He has led the BI/data warehouse development and other supply chain related application development for the group and its subsidiaries.

He has also been Business Application Systems Manager for Limited Brands/Mast Industries, a family of fashion brands. He led the development of production tracking system, built the BI portal and a BI project on factory quality management with great success.

Before he left Nike International as project leader, he developed the demand forecasting application for Asia-Pacific. He also introduced a quick fix solution for Asia apparel operations that saved the company almost US$2 million per year on label management.

Sidney started his IT career with Cathay Pacific Airways. He gained his experiences on various functions and projects such as computer operations, reservations system, check-in system, CRM, catering forecasting and data centre migration to Sydney. He left as business analyst.

Sidney obtained his Bachelor's Degree (Hons) in Business Studies from the City University of Hong Kong and Certified PMP in Project Management Institute.

Having gained significant international acumen in the FMCG, wholesale, retail as well as manufacturing arenas, Ben has taken up the task of employing his knowledge within the Mercedes-Benz Hong Kong business as Chief Information Officer.

In terms of duties and focus, the main challenge that Ben has had to tackle head-on is to institute an IT function that sufficiently supports the ever-growing business growth re. volume of cars as well as financial products sold. The added dimension to this focus is to also formalize a standard culture of continuous improvement by providing expert consulting skills to the business community.

Considering his education in the Human Sciences (Honours - Industrial Sociology), Ben's approach to both business and IT by default always involves a strong people focus, and a creative approach to challenges and solutions.

Before joining Midland Group, he worked in an Integrated Call Centre of Hong Kong Government as Executive Manager. Also, he was the Principal Consultant of PWC in CRM focus in call center and telecom projects in Singapore and Indonesia.

He has the degree of BSc.(Hons) in Computer Science and Electronic Engineering, MBA and Diploma in Marketing.

Sylvester possesses a Diploma in Computer Studies, a Higher Diploma in Information Systems, a Bachelor Degree in Information System and a Diploma in Executing Strategy. He has led many business transformation IT projects in different countries covering Asia, Pacific, Americas, and Europe. Most recently he led the implementations of Prospect to Cash business processes and master data standardisation at Rentokil Initial covering 12 countries in Asia and the Pacific, and in parallel he also established a regional shared IT service centre to support these implementations. He led the global implementation of SAP at IDT covering 8 countries in Europe, Asia and the Pacific. At Alfred Dunhill, he developed a new Retail Point of Sales System and then he led the roll-out of this system globally.

Sylvester was a guest speaker at Hong Kong Leadership Forum where he presented the topic "Roll Out SAP Globally". There were various Microsoft Customer Case Study Reports about some global projects led by Sylvester. He was a guest speaker at one of the Microsoft event in Hong Kong where he presented the topic "Enhance Workflow Efficiency".
