Samson Tam is a Legislative Councilor from the functional constituency of Information Technology. He is now a member of Digital 21 Strategy Advisory Committee and the Small and Medium Enterprises Committee, the Chairman of Hong Kong Trade Development Council ICT Services Advisory Committee and Deputy Chairman of the Hong Kong Productivity Council. He is also the Chairman of the TechMatrix Research Centre and the founder and Chairman of Group Sense (International) Ltd.

Mr. Geoff McClelland

Geoff has over 25 years' experience in Information Technology and Telecommunications (IT&T), having held senior roles or consulting extensively in a number of industry sectors; notably in Telecommunications, Petroleum, IT, Finance, Defence, Retail and Hospitality. Always having a strong technology focus, Geoff has held traditional IT&T staff roles as well as broader R&D, strategic marketing and corporate planning positions.

From 2000, Geoff was the Group Enterprise Architect for Dairy Farm International (DFI); then the VP Technology - Hotel Development for Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group (MOHG) until mid-2010; he continues to provide IT governance services to DFI's and MOHG's parent company, Jardine Matheson Limited.

Professionally Geoff's very strong background in Enterprise Architecture led naturally to IT strategy, governance and risk management. His successful transition into broader management roles outside of IT as a Business-Technology professional has heightened his understanding of the challenges faced by organisations in achieving convergence, not just alignment, of IT with the business.

Geoff is a well-respected technology commentator in the Asia Pacific region especially in the areas of IT strategy, security and governance. Geoff is an Australian, married with two children and lives in Hong Kong. He holds a MBA in Finance from the University of Technology Sydney and is a Member of the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers), ISACA (Information Systems Audit and Control Association), a Senior Member of the Australian Computer Society (ACS); and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).

Mr. Terry Graham

Terry Graham is a Research Affiliate at Hong Kong University's Telecommunications Research Project (TRP), a leading research and consulting organization in Hong Kong. Terry has been engaged on a wide range of telecom and ICT projects, focused primarily on Asia, performing detailed research, political assessment and investment due diligence. He is widely published in the sector, including Telecommunications Development in Asia (HKU Press, 2008). He has completed public policy projects commissioned by the Office of the Telecommunications Authority (Hong Kong), the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, the Hong Kong Commerce and Economic Development Bureau, APEC, PECC, ITU, UNDP, UNESCAP, Asia Foundation, European Union (EU), Asian Development Bank (ADB), Japanese Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC), the World Bank, the United States State Department, and the United States Trade and Development Agency (USTDA), among others. Projects have addressed topics as diverse as National Information Infrastructure (NII) polices and programs, national competitiveness and promotion of information society, social media and disruptive technology strategy, investment analysis, and executive training. At one time he was a research analyst with the U.S. Information Technology Office (USITO) in Beijing, and has worked with the Institute for the Future, Tarifica, the Broad Group, and others. He has a B.A. from Swarthmore College and is fluent in Mandarin, German and French.

A Fortune 500 company, AECOM serves clients in approximately 125 countries.

Raymond has over 16 years of data centre and support centre management experiences for many MNCs in both Canada and Asia. He is responsible for regional strategy and execution for technical services in AECOM. He also oversees the Asia IT Project Management Office of the company.

Raymond holds a Bachelor degree from the University of Toronto in Canada and a Master degree of Information Systems Management. He is also certified in Project Management from PMI.

As a Functional Leader Manager in the Financial Services / Insurance Company IT, Youngran is responsible for contributing the Global & Regional Standard Architecture and for contributing operational improvement projects.

Youngran worked in Business and Technology Experience with 19+ years of insurance, phamaceutical, IT technology domain and have worked in Japan, Australia, Korea and Hong Kong.

Youngran has good view of complete insurance value chain experience from Product Development, Investment, Sales, Underwriting, Policy Administration, Claims Processing to Reinsurance. Younran worked with big consulting companies such as IBM, CSC, Cognizant, Okton, Satyam, Samsung SDS, Delloitte, BCS, PWC, TCS, HCL, Cap Gemini as her partner for many successful projects.


Ms. Yvonne Che

Yvonne has over 20 years of experience in Information Technology of banking and finance sector. Prior to joining Dah Sing Bank, Yvonne held various IT positions in financial institutions including DBS Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, Peregrine Investment Holding and Jardine Fleming. In the past 10 years, Yvonne also traveled around Asian Pacific countries very often to work on standardization, integration and globalization initiatives.

Yvonne holds a BSc degree in Computer Science and a MBA degree.

Wayne Moy is the Asia Pacific regional IT director for one of the largest advertising companies in the world, DDB Worldwide. He works with the global CIO to implement corporate initiatives to about 20 offices in Asia Pacific. He’s also worked for over 10 years in the television industry for STAR TV and CNN. He is currently working on a regional project to consolidate data centres and to migrate to cloud computing services.




Mr. Gautam DS Bardoloi

Gautam DS Bardoloi is an Executive at the Hong Kong Jockey Club, in charge of IT Strategy, Planning and Architecture. Prior to joining the Club, he was a Partner (Director) with IBM Global Business Services (GBS), and lead IBM's Asset Management Services for the Growth Market Units (Asia Pacific, Latin America, Central Europe & Middle East). He has worked or managed engagements in over 20 countries across the Growth Markets prior to joining the Hong Kong Jockey Club.

Gautam is a Mechanical Engineer with a Master's Degree in Business Administration, and has a Law Degree.

He is an honorary member of centre of Excellence for Business Management, CPA Australia, Hong Kong/China Chapter and is an Advisory Board Member in the Li & Fung Institute for Supply Chain at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.


Prof. Eric Tsui

Eric Tsui is the Professor and Associate Director of the Knowledge Management Research Centre at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Prior to joining the university, he was the Chief Research Officer, Asia Pacific for Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC). During his 15 years tenure at CSC, he had made significant contributions to the company's expert systems products, applied research and innovation programmes, and university-industry collaborations. Appointed as the Professor of Knowledge Management at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University under the President - Distinguished Professionals Scheme in September 2002, he joined the university as a full time staff in March 2005. In the past 5 years, he has given numerous public and custom-designed knowledge management and collaborations workshops. He has also consulted for many government departments and private organizations on Knowledge Management strategies and technologies in Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, and Brunei.

Professor Tsui is the program leader of Asia - only master degree in Knowledge Management which is delivered in a blended learning environment. He has B.Sc. (Hons.), PhD and MBA qualifications and a member of the Australian Computer Society, the Hong Kong Computer Society, and Vice President of the Hong Kong Knowledge Management Society.

Eric is Vice President of the Hong Kong Knowledge Management Society, an honorary advisor on KM to the Hong Kong Police College, and a member on IT Technical Advisory Sub-Committee in the Hospital Authority.


Mr. Stephen Woollard

Stephen is Head of Critical Environment Management for North Asia, covering data centres, trading floors, high-tech manufacturing and any sites where down-time is unacceptable. His work involves training, standard setting, compliance auditing and major incident investigation & rectification, together with the provision of specialist advice to other regions. He has been extensively involved in investigating and solving problems in operational data centres and trading floors. Stephen is a member of the AsiaPac Critical Environment Board for JLL.

Before joining JLL, Stephen spent some time on the Asian and European data centre conference circuit, both as expert speaker and as conference chairman. For 3 years he was Head of Operations for an MEP consultancy in Hong Kong and Singapore specialising in the finance sector. Before moving to Asia, Stephen ran his own company in the UK, working in operational consultancy. Formerly he obtained significant experience in the intelligent building controls industry and healthcare sector.

Geof is a partner in Mayer Brown's Business & Technology Sourcing (BTS) practice and leads the BTS practice in Asia. He has broad experience in sourcing transactions, including the outsourcing and offshoring of information technology and services as well as of business processes. His experience in the area of information technology procurement and outsourcing transactions includes transactions involving infrastructure, applications maintenance, development and support, network management, telecommunications services, and help desk functions, as well as implementation and integration of major enterprise applications and systems. His experience in the outsourcing of business processes includes outsourcing human resources, finance and accounting, procurement, customer relationship management, and other business functions.

Geof has represented clients in a wide range of industries, including financial services, health care, consumer products, telecommunications, advertising and publishing, airline, manufacturing, chemical, energy, information technology, mining and natural resources, as well as governmental entities. His clients have ranged from start-up enterprises to national and global firms. He has worked with clients in all geographies.

Prior to joining Mayer Brown in 2001, Geof worked for over 10 years for Electronic Data Systems Corporation in various senior legal capacities, including five years as international general counsel with responsibility for all legal support requirements of EDS' non-US business.

Geof has been praised for his "incredible speed and accuracy" (Chambers USA 2010) and his "excellent business sense - his business judgment is as valuable on points as his legal judgment, so when it comes to negotiations, he always meets the other side's arguments head-on" (Chambers USA 2007). It has also been said of him that he is in tune with commercial realities on the ground (Chambers USA 2008), and "can so instantly and confidently win clients' trust while at the same time driving totally hard bargains by charming the other side" (Chambers USA 2006).


Mr. Francis Fung

Francis Fung had been working in Midland Realty as Chief Technology Officer for 8 years. The IT department had 80 staff to cover over 600 branches and 7,000 end users in Hong Kong, Macau and Mainland China. As head of IT, his scopes of work included the property portal, application development, data centre and field service operation.

Before joining Midland Realty, he worked in an Integrated Call Centre of Hong Kong Government as Executive Manager. He was the Principal Consultant of PWC in CRM and worked in Singapore and Indonesia Projects.

He has the degree of BSc..(Hons.) in Computer Science and Electronic Engineering, in University of Birmingham (UK). MBA in University of Wales (Cardiff, UK) and Diploma in Marketing.


Mr. Peter Blanks

Peter Blanks is now the CIO of Noble Group in Asia and he is also a senior technology executive with 18 years experience working in global financial services including HSBC, Standard Chartered Bank and Morgan Stanley in Europe, Asia and North America. Held senior positions managing front and back office software application development, and enterprise infrastructure technology. Experience implementing Listed Derivatives, Foreign Exchange, Institutional Equity, Investment Banking and Asset Management technology platforms. Extensive offshore development centre management and vendor management experience.



Mr. Nicholas Lesek

Nicholas Lesek has specialist experience in data centre environments, trading floors, banking corporate real estate and over 15 years experience in the mission critical sector. His career began in the industrial vertical with a focus in electrical engineering/process control disciplines. From there he joined Honeywell and was part of the delivery team in the massive Hong Kong Airport project. From there he led a numbers of accounts in the region for Honeywell, one of them being Goldman Sachs. Post 9/11, he joined the Goldman outsourced project engineering team during their many years of expansion is Asia. In 2007, Nicholas joined Macquarie to Head up Engineering & Facilities in the Americas based in New York. In 2010 he returned to Asia to head up Nomura Engineering in the region.


Mr. Arthur Wong

Arthur is the Director, Head of Information Technology of Sun Hung Kai Financial. He has over 24 years of experience in the information technology industry with major banks and financial institutions. He is responsible for the overall management of all IT functions for the SHKF Group. Before Arthur joined SHKF in 2010, he was the Head of IT in Fubon Bank (HK). Arthur had also been working with China Construction Bank for 13 years as the IT Head of CCB Hong Kong and the Overseas Support Centre. Arthur also worked for National Australia Bank, Citibank and Standard Chartered Bank before.

Arthur holds an MBA degree from University of Warwick, UK.

Phil has spent the last 18 years of his 32 years in the IT industry with Hitachi Data Systems. During this time Phil has lent his expertise to a series of senior positions that has contributed to the growth of Hitachi Data Systems as an organization.

Phil has previously been a speaker at many industry events including IDC, Gartner and CMGA conferences on Advanced Fibre Channel Solutions, technology solutions for business continuity and most recently deriving cost efficiency using storage virtualization technology.


Mr. Nick Knupffer

Nick Knupffer is the APAC & PRC Marketing Director, Intel Datacenter and Connected Systems Group. Nick began his Intel career in 1999 in the United Kingdom as a product engineer supporting Intel’s largest European server customers. In 2002 Nick Knupffer moved to run technology press relations in the UK, then moved to Intel HQ in California in 2006 where he managed global communications for Data Centre Group products. Nick moved to Hong Kong in February 2011. Nick studied Computer Science at Kingston University and Russian Literature at Queen Mary's College, London University.
