Anson has spent the last twenty years working in both industry and professional services covering strategic consulting across a number of countries in the Asia Pacific region including Australia, China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand across a number of different sectors.

Anson joined KPMG in Hong Kong in 1999 and is currently a Partner based in the Hong Kong office heading up business development across the KPMG China Practice. He is part of the Regional Consumer Markets Practice Leadership team as well as being a member of the Global Technology Innovation Centre and the High Growth Tech & Innovation Group based in Hong Kong.

He has undertaken strategic consulting roles and market assessments for multinational corporations in the region with experience in a wide range of sectors including retail, food and beverage, FMCG, chemicals, product sourcing, telecoms, media, consumer electronics, software, IT outsourcing and other technology sectors. He is responsible for a number of revenue programs focused on the key account program including global and national accounts in the Consumer Markets and Technology sectors.

Anson has been active in driving a number of thought leadership and executive briefings for senior executives covering  the consumer markets arena with recent reports released including Global Mobile Payments, Luxury experiences in China, Consumer Currents, Global Reach of China Luxury, Product Sourcing in Asia Pacific , The Consumer Executive Top of Mind Survey and MNCs in China.

In addition, Anson is currently involved in driving a number of strategic initiatives including  a series of thought leadership and executive briefings for senior executives covering  the technology and ecommerce arena with recent reports released including Global Mobile Payments, Consumers & Convergence, Mobilizing Innovation: The Changing Landscape of Disruptive Technologies, The Rise of the Digital Multi-tasker, Innovation in China, China's Connected Consumers and The Changing Face of Commerce series.

He recently held a senior contract position for DBS Bank in Hong Kong leading service transformation initiatives.

Yang Gao

Yang Gao is currently the Director of Search Marketing at Hotels.com Asia Pacific, an Expedia Inc. company. Based in Hong Kong, he is responsible for driving regional business growth via search marketing activities across all APAC markets and key search engines, including Google, Bing, Yahoo Japan, Naver, and Baidu.

Prior to joining Hotels.com, Yang held product and marketing roles at Samsung as well as two startup companies in the San Francisco Bay Area, both with successful exits. Yang began his career in enterprise software, as a senior developer for The Oracle Corporation.

Yang holds an MBA from INSEAD and engineering degrees from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

John McLennan

John's vision is to fill homes across Asia with beautiful furniture and accessories, to turn spaces into homes that people truly love to live in. In his role, he is responsible for business development, project sales and partnerships, as well as managing brand direction, design and trends. John has over 24 years of project management and design experience in Asia where he began his career in 1988, initially working in Taiwan with a children's furniture company designing furniture and packaging. He then ran his own interior design company in Hong Kong before becoming involved in the retail/rental/project design business in 1999, and later joining Banyan Tree in 2002. He ran the company from 2004 onwards and re-banded it as Indigo before buying the company in 2005.

The past few years have seen great growth from Indigo living, with successful retail launches in Dubai and China and growth in F&B, hospitality and large scale design and fit out projects across Australia, China, Hong Kong, Dubai, Macau, Singapore and more.

John's vision for Indigo Living's brand essence is a lifestyle mantra to live beautifully, dream passionately and love completely. The philosophy revolves around creating inspirational, beautiful interiors that surprise and delight the customers.

His key design influences are travel and other interior design visionaries with his initial foray in architecture during university evolving into a passion for interiors. His arrival to Asia in 1987 helped to shape his world-sensitive design aesthetic. John is responsible for the overall creative direction for Indigo and continues to approve all products and design concepts.

Besides his passion for his role at Indigo, John is a passionate skier who loves cooking for friends and family, outrigger paddling, reading design books and travelling in Asia and the Middle East. John is married and a father of two children aged 12 and 15.

John's creative talent has come a long way since receiving his BA in Urban Geography & City Planning from the University of British Columbia, and a Masters in Asian Studies from Capilano College (Canada). He also studied interior design from the Rhodec School of Design.

Anna Gamvros is a technology and innovation partner based in Hong Kong. Anna is co-author to Internet Law in Hong Kong published by Sweet & Maxwell and is recognised in the Legal 500 and Chambers Asia as a leading individual for her expertise in the area of technology and data protection, in particular for her "extensive IT transactional work" and experience across a number of industries, notably with retail and luxury brands.Anna's practice focuses primarily on technology and communications related issues. She advises clients on licensing and technology agreements, outsourcing, privacy and data protection, and telecommunications and Internet regulatory issues. She has assisted clients with Hong Kong and China based projects and well as having a wealth of experience in multi-jurisdictional projects, particularly in implementing e-commerce and data management projects in Asia.

Anna is the Chair of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) KnowledgeNet Chapter in Hong Kong and sits on the Hong Kong Government Working Group on the Provision and Use of Cloud Services. She is admitted as a solicitor in Queensland, Australia and Hong Kong.

Ravel Lai is an IT veteran with over 24 years' experience in the retail industry including Fashion, FMCG, Food & Beverage and shopping mall. He rejoined Jardine Restaurant Group HK for 2 years as Group IT Director managing the IT teams for both Pizza Hut and KFC in HK, Macau, Vietnam and Myanmar.

Ravel is also the Digital Marketing Head of Pizza Hut HK and the Social CRM Lead of Pizza Hut and KFC HK. He is driving the digital and CRM strategy to engage with customers in different digital channels such as website, social media and mobile app.

Ravel is not only an IT professional but also holds a MBA major in Marketing. Out of his work, he is a die-hard Liverpool football fan and the driver of his 9 years old daughter.

Mr. Fan holds a Master Degree in System Engineering and Engineering Management from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and an Honor Bachelor Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from University of Portsmouth of UK.
